Homestead Series
This has been a series I’ve wanted to get out into the world for a little while. Kith has always been a place I hoped people; both children and adults alike, could re-learn the handcrafts of our elders. Both my grandmothers and my mom are wonderful urban-homesteaders. By that I mean, they can darn socks, bake, cook, they’re completely skilled at handcrafts, they can turn their hand to fixing and creating and have a wonderful understanding of the seasons through tending to their gardens. Whilst they don’t raise sheep or drive a tractor in the traditional “homesteading” sense, I bet if they had reason to, they absolutely could.
This series is the beginning of re-learning all those skills we maybe learnt as children and would like to pass on to our children. Skills for life.
Head to the first in the series…
