We are thrilled to welcome Carmel Page back to Kith for a morning workshop: Stitches and Stories.
Weaving webs of stitches and stories to rejuvenate your clothes and recharge your soul. Bring garments to repair, learn sewing skills and listen to Carmel weaving stories as we share yarns.
Carmel Page is storyteller and author who stopped buying clothes over five years ago. She inhabits clothing covered in embellishments and a fantasy world woven with stories.
Carmel Page has a house on the edge of Sheffield but she tends to live in a world of her own. When she wakes up in the morning her head is so full of stories she likes to lay in bed and think about them before getting up. She is also the author of Yorkshire Folk Tales for Children and she co-runs The Story Forge a story telling club for adults. As well as enchanting her audiences with her tales she teaches storytelling and creativity.
