Knitting Together is a chance to come together whatever your knitting skills might be. From beginners to experts, these gatherings offer a space to engage with fellow enthusiasts, acquire new techniques, and develop your knitting craft all whilst in the safe supportive homestead environment.
Skilled knitters are encouraged to bring their ongoing projects (WIPs) and assist those who are still navigating the craft if they’re able to. If you're a novice eager to start your first project or need guidance on an existing one, there will likely be someone available to guide you through casting on your first project.
Children (7-18years) are welcome to attend when accompanied by a grown up, also keen to knit.
More info:
Please bring;
- your own knitting project, including needles
- if you’re a beginner and don’t have needles/yarn, please let me know on the booking form so we can arrange some for you. Please note, you won’t be able to take the needles away with you so do try and bring your own if you’re able to.
- a flask of tea/water
- enough layers to keep warm in the yurt (slippers are lovely to keep toes warm)
- snacks for yourself (or something to share with the group)
- spare yarn ends to share with new knitters
Please note, spaces are extremely limited. Booking is essential to ensure we’re able to manage capacity in the yurt space.
