Garden Gathering

  • Kith Homestead Harrogate Rd North Rigton, England, LS17 0DR United Kingdom (map)

Come get your hands in the earth tending to the garden at Kith. Together we’ll lay the foundations for the growing season ahead of us, learning from each other and together creating a beautiful growing space full of abundance.

Throughout the growing months we’ll be fighting off the creeping buttercup and tending to the growing crops.

Whilst we do have trowels, spades, forks, garden equipment etc, if you’d rather use your own please feel free to bring them.

Bring a hot flask of tea, wellies, waterproof trousers/jacket, layers and your own gardening gloves if you use them.

Numbers will be limited so please do book in ahead of time (just because of our tiny carpark). I can let you know what’s on the agenda and what to expect before you arrive. Use the booking form below to book in. Click on the date you’d like to join us and follow the steps from there.

There’s no charge for the community garden hours Throughout the growing season, as part of the community, you’ll be able to take a share of the harvests as and when they’re ready.

This is for adults and keen older children 12+ accompanied by an adult.

If you’d like your younger children to learn more about the growing garden, please consider coming along to one of the family classes.
